Reiterating what has already been said, it comes down to 1) either the program not recognizing the address, so it is just going off the city and/or zip or 2) There is confusion somewhere on what the boundaries really are. Can you actually see the street/intersection on the map? If you can see ward ...

Is there indeed a problem with the Meetinghouse locator program in LDS.org? I ask this question because one of our unit's clerks had problems giving a member the correct unit that they would be moving into. The clerk in question used the meetinghouse locator map to find the proper unit for an addres...

One of our units had the same problem last night (We are a Colorado Stake). The unit in question has a late meeting schedule and didn't finish the donation count until around 5:30 Mountain Time. The finance clerk found me in the building and related the issue and I told him I would look at it after ...

Because they are not considered a member of record, they will not show up on many of the reports. They are still children of the member, so they will show up on the member's record or IOS. That won't change, even if they leave the Church entirely. But they won't be on the full Directory of Members,...

Yes, I checked a nine year old unbaptized child. There was no asteric by the childs name on the roll. I am not sure which unit the Stake Primary President got this question from " What does the asteric by a child's name mean " but apparently at least one unit has a roll where an asteric sh...

I thought that might be the case but I checked one wards primarly roll on which I knew for a certainty that a particular child had not yet been baptized. There was no asteric by the childs name yet the child was listed on the class roll. ???

Asterisks on Primary Rolls

I have searched through MLS help and also here in the wiki but I couldn't find an answer to the following question - "What does an asterics by the name of a child mean on a primary class roll?" Our Stake Primary President emailed me asking about this question and short of calling LUS I tho...

I hope and pray this isn't a "here we go again". Since we are not in Utah (Colorado is just next door for those geographically challanged ;) ) we have not yet received the set up file. However, after looking at one of our wards I noticed they went from a positive $1300 in ward missionary f...

We do attach an expense authorization form to each IROP that is initiated by a member of the stake, and get the stake president's approval (I'm a stake financial clerk; obviously it would be the bishop's approval for a ward). But it is indeed "after the fact." Thanks this is a great idea....

IROP's and Audits

Had an interesting experience during our audit last week. The auditor asked to see one of the IROP reports to check it against the Unit Finance Report. Everything checked out so no problems (exceptions) noted. However, it brought up a couple of questions that the auditor and I talked about. First - ...
