When we do our building to building simulcasts, I physically take the Cisco firewall offline, which eliminates any possibility of bandwidth contention from computers in the building, since all connections that could have a computer connected to them, hang off of the firewall. Isn't this a fundament...

Take computers offline

Convenience of a commonly understood resource use more than anything - just in CASE there is network use (setting MLS to download a large patch, the future probability that these machines will grab windows updates or virus definition updates) I want to make sure there is enough padding to ensure sm...

I was surprised also and went back to the site to see if i had missed something, but I couldn't find anything. And yes, just the two fields would be all that was necessary.... I just checked and I do see arrival dates for missionaries in the MTC as well as missionaries in the field. When I expand t...

You are conflating two distinct conditions: "Unlisted" and "Do Not Contact." Neither is tracked or screened in MLS. Only the former, apparently, is screened in LUWS, and that only seems to relate specifically to a commitment to the sensitive members to keep their addresses from ...

I am in agreement with the intent of respecting members' wishes to be excluded, but I am not well educated about the mechanics of that. How precisely are those wishes executed within MLS? Does it only affect LUWS? My inherent problem is that my application is driven by the data that is exported dir...

Suggestions

These KML files, like their underlying source data, are intended for church use only. They should be protected from unauthorized use, and not stored on third-party servers. The content of the basic families map contains no substantive data that is not already downloadable by authorized ward members...

Bien venido Shanir!

Perhaps we should back up and ask why you want someone to be a non-resident member of more than one stake, and then maybe we can give better help. I don't know anything about Hugh's reason, but can give you an example of when a person might need non-resident access in more than one stake. We have h...

Until now the report has run perfectly. But, this past Sunday when we ran the report it showed that most of the ward HAD'NT been visited (95%) when 97% of our High Priests visited their families and 65% of our Elders did. Our EQ Presidency and HP Group Leader remembers entering the information. So,...

We recently ran at Home Teaching report to see who had not been home taught for 2 months. When we ran that report <5% had been visited. When we discussed this in PEC everyone in the room had done their Home Teaching and the report was not showing it. What could have happened? If the home teaching v...
