I would love to start a thread starting from the top of a ward financial statement and discussing how it flows. I am not sure it would be appropriate to do or not here. I for one would love the opportunity to break one down to understand them better. What say ye moderators? It could be a sticky.... ...

Most members don't understand the categories on the slip and why or what they are donating to.

Does the church have something in electronic format I can use on the ward website to teach our members how to fill out a tithing donation slip properly.

We have several members who continue to use the other category and its kind of challenging to continually clean up the finances.

There is a bug - it's been reported to the programmers. It's not affecting all units. Basically there is a slightly different web address used when accessing the website through the Church Directory website, vs. accessing it through lds.org (the way most of us get to it). I have a member who paid their tithing to a wrong ward.

The check was made out to the correct ward but member sent it to another ward (many miles from home ward) and now wants to have the check accounted for in her home ward.

How would I go about this.

I changed the image and message.

I can update the lessons and ward calendar but the image and message is a no go no matter what I do. Very odd.

Great, I was really worried. My Bishop uses the past month as reference and was sure we couldn't do that for the reason you mentioned.

Okay, found the problem. But I am curious, I balanced October (zeroed unreconciled), and I was curious and looking at Aug and September which now show numbers where there should be zeros while October is balanced. Please tell me this is normal in how MLS handles this. Should each month remain at zer...
