Yes, this is an issue with the YSA stake/ward out of unit leaders. I am the STS for a YSA Stake and we haven't been able to do much with the calendar until recently. You can try using the feedback tool at the bottom (they usually respond within a day) or call the global service desk. Also contact yo...

CHQ goal is to retire classic Local Unit Websites at the end of 2011. Lots needs to happen by then for that to really work. We'll have firm direction for units by late summer. The new version of the calendar (2.0) will be released in June or July, & will fix a lot of the issues people have experien...

YSA Stake/Ward Calendar (out of unit access)

Any word on them getting the YSA Stake Calendars working yet? We've been waiting a year for a fix and really do not want to transfer everything at the last minute this year. For those that don't know, YSA Stake calendars are not functional due to the leadership not actually being in the Stake (all o...

I had to email support (feedback button on new.lds.org) to get my access corrected. Bishops usually don't have problems with the out-of-unit calling records. They are processed at the Stake level (an out-of-unit record should be created at the stake level so they can be set in the new bishop form). ...

I was originally called as an assistant stake clerk and then became the Stake tech specialist when they started doing the meeting house internet. I still did both callings (some of us just ask for big work loads). When the new directory site came online I wondered if the STS would cause problems sin...

The income/expense report vs. budget report is really confusing at the stake level right now. I "zeroed" out the legacy carry over categories (still trying to figure out how administration could start out negative). Since this information is not showing on the budget report, it made all those sub ca...

A few things. The church encourages worthy young men 18 years or older to be ordained elders before leaving for college (I think BYU has a requirement for this, correct me if I'm wrong). Apparently a lot of wards don't know this which is why a stake like mine performs 50-100 ordinations every semest...

Being a stake clerk over a student stake I would definitely have to disagree about pulling records not being a problem. A singles ward Bishop has to deal with 100-200 new faces at the beginning of the semester, playing what we refer to as records tag does not help the situation. When a record is pul...

You can contact the CDOL (LU support can redirect you) and have them make the change. You can also have them update phone numbers etc.
