Sounds like a custom calling in the stake to me.

What do you mean by "vehicle to accomplish this"? How to enter the calling in MLS or something else?

The following instructions are given regarding handling of a donation that was included in a 2012 batch that should have been included in 2011: "If a unit makes a deposit to a batch on or after January 1 that should have been counted in the previous year, they can make the adjustment from the new y...

Yes. The only reason you would not have any carryover funds is if your stake has you cut them a check for your remaining 2011 balance. Once they give you the funds, they are yours and yours alone. Your 2011 ending balance is now a carry-forward balance for 2012, whether it is negative or positve. In...

I think the intention is to not have us moving records out without contact info unless we have done our due diligence in getting the contact information. It is equally frustrating to be on the receiving end of a membership record move without knowing who the person is, where they live, or having any...

For a brand new unit, you will have to wait until it is set up in the church's systems. This can take a couple days AFTER it starts appearing in the CDOL. The first time you log into a new unit you've added to MLS is to setup the unit by doing a send/receive. That is the only applicable option for a...

In an effort to simplify this year, I created budget sub-accounts for the other two wards in MLS. I gave these categories zero budget. When writing checks I'd split the amounts between the three Cub Scout categories, which took the other wards' balances negative. Reimbursements from the other wards...

The stats show up every month. I don't know if there is a specific day, or if they are part of the updates received with every send/receive. Timing might be a reason the stake calls, though. Another thought-the stats generated in MLS are often different from what the EQ or HPGL would report. All hou...

The statistics for the unit get passed to the stake. A stake can therefore NOT see who did their hometeaching, and who was home taught, but they can see the final numbers and statistics.
