Re: Update that forbids access to LCR at the website?

My guess would be web server failure(s), which seem more common than I would expect. Reporting such events to Global Services will at least add data points to their problem tracking system.

Re: Donation Batch not processing

I think the "Online donation batches - Log in approvals" thread was where it was reported.

Re: Donation Batch not processing

Call the Church's help center. The glitch you're describing seems very similar to a glitch in the first few months of the having donation processing in LCR. Best wishes with this.

Re: Online donation batches - Log in approvals

Sorry. What I'm thinking is having a clerk at the unit PC and a bishopric member next to the clerk but on his personal device, or having two web browsers open on the unit PC (one with the clerk logged in, the other with the bishopric member logged in). If either of these approaches works it could sa...

Re: Online donation batches - Log in approvals

Verifying device might be by IP address for the PC, or something like it.

We've been delaying using LCR for recording donations because the early version of the process was essentially broken. I think we'll test second approval variations to see what limits there are.

Re: Online tithing donations - Log in approvals

I wonder if the second approver could essentially be waiting in the wings, with a private browser tab or window, a second browser (Chrome versus Edge, or Firefox) simultaneously running, or logged-in on their hand-held device. Private browsing tabs / windows can be useful for troubleshooting some we...

Re: LCR Finance - Reconciliation Donation Online

Processing unit donations via LCR will be nice because we're essentially back to using one interface again. I've been expecting this feature for a few years. We should be able to mothball MLS relatively soon after. Though Sunday server capacity has improved and stabilized significantly over years, I...

Re: LCR Finance - Reconciliation Donation Online

When we tried we didn't have the instruction Larry saw yesterday. We thought LCR's method would be the same as MLS's, where both approvals are registered while one person is logged in. I'm hoping the revised process works reasonably well. Sunday server issues continue to slow us down, but haven't be...

Re: LCR Finance - Reconciliation Donation Online

A few weeks back we tried processing a batch of donations using LCR's interface. It failed miserably. Reading the "In-person donation entry in LCR" thread indicated that the LCR method wasn't quite ready for general use. Yesterday I helped submit donations, and noticed that our MLS softwar...

Re: Quarterly Report 1st Quarter 2021

Our editing is limited to supporting data, i.e. class attendance, ministering interview logs, Sacrament attendance, .... I think quarterly report data is being developed as designed. However, it appears our EQ and RS attendance are a little overstated and our Primary attendance is a little understat...
