Re: Why prompted to print?

You will notice the ones that print with no reason are all long term inactives and what you are prompted to print is nearly always an IOS. My best guess that it is the programs way of encouraging you to work with them and that it chooses them because their record hasn't been opened in X time frame.

Re: Idaho Initiative

The Idaho initiative is a church program for member reactivation. It targets a number of groups. The lists should include kids 9-18 that are not baptized, part member families, families without priesthood in the home, list of inactive families.(there are 5 lists and that is 4, forgetting 1) The ward...

Re: Future of Classic LDS Maps?

Providing Topographic information may choke down low bandwidth connections, and there is a lot of work on GIS department to get the data ready on the server. It may be better to collect 100-year flood (or equivalent in non-US countries) and serve that. This would not require people to be trained in...

Re: Submit Suggestions for Newsletter Features and Improvements Here!

The problem is 2 fold. Lack of training from the top down. But the more important issue is people not magnifying their callings and learning it and teaching it from the ground up. Not everyone is capable of learning it without support but those of us who are should be both learning it and teaching i...

Re: Emergency Plan

And here is another worth while link to maybe add the information to the notebook. Some places put the cones just in a ladder.

Re: Emergency Plan

Thanks so much for posting this. I am the new chair of the preparedness committee. We are in the process of updating our ward plan so we appreciate having a model to follow. You may already know, but if not, the Church has a recently-revamped preparedness guide! https://providentliving.lds.org/emer...

Re: Custom Single Adult Report

The ability of the stake presidency to access SA information was removed so they can't even print a list of SAs last I knew. That doesn't sound right. I can understand if some leaders didn't have access - such as High Councilors. But not the stake presidency. However, looking at the access table, I...

Re: Custom Single Adult Report

You are likely going to run into another problem with this at the stake level. The ability of the stake presidency to access SA information was removed so they can't even print a list of SAs last I knew. We had to do it at the ward level because the stake presidency didn't have access. Custom report...

Re: Submit Suggestions for Newsletter Features and Improvements Here!

I will admit our ward and stake are not greatly using it. But it has great potential.

Our stake is using it so we know what ward the stake presidency and HC is going to be in each week since that badly clutters the calendar and for a place to put suggested 4th Sunday topics.

Re: Future of Classic LDS Maps?

.... What features that we had on classic Maps will we not have on the current "Ward Map"? :?: Boundaries is already mention but there are a bunch of neat features in that too. Another one that is in classic is the ability to underlay other maps. For example if you are dealing with floodi...
