I don't think that the instructions are clear enough to tell parents that the youth need to sign in. On a second read, that makes sense now, but remember that most kids will first be reading this from the parents' account as I assume most kids have not created an LDS Account yet. Language says: >To ...

I looked at this and do not see my daughter listed for our ward. Is this something that the ward YW leader must "kick start" to begin working? I'm asking 'cuz generally people in my ward look to me to figure out the new tech stuff (exec sec coupled with tech), and I want our ward to start ...

Request for Lodging from Out-of-Area Members

I've searched CHI but can't find anything on point. Is there a policy regarding a member from another location requesting lodging at a member's house in a unit? Likely a bishopric decision, but not sure.

Crashed our system too. We downloaded and reinstalled and everything looks back to normal. Our stake tech specialist strongly advised AGAINST doing an "update" via MLS. He's had repeated calls from wards of the update crashing the systems.

Just tried it with my wife's gmail account. She did not have a calendar, so initialized it with Google. Then used my sync link substituting https for http. Same result. Google reformatted the https to http. No synchronization.

Using the new.lds.org link does work. Not sure how long that link will remain active. I'm currently considering your life expectancy versus how long new.lds.org will be around.

Went to settings. Unsubscribed from lds link. Back to calendar. Add calendar by URL using https://lds.org/church-calendar/service ... ribe/xxxxx. Click "add calendar". Link immediately changes from https (as input) to http. No sync results.
