Re: windows 8 app not up to date
I am currently using a windows 8 tablet. The updates have stopped. I don't have access to the current old testament sunday school material. I also don't have access to the October General Conference. It is as if just before the conference all updates have ceased. I uninstalled and tried beta but ne...

Re: Luxury of a request... I know
The Gospel Library for Windows team have wanted to implement something like this since our first release of version 2. Unfortunately, the LDS.org Annotations Web Service (which we have no control over) doesn't support such a feature (and isn't likely to anytime soon), and because that service is use...

Re: Notes causing lds.org study tools to not function
I can't study consistently because the error message is happening so regularly. (Windows 10) This doesn't have anything to do with the necroed thread, which related to version 2.x of the app (which is no longer supported). I don't know which version of the app you're on on Windows 10 (4.1.8.0? Some...

Re: Missing Manuals
The legacy version of Gospel Library for Windows (version 2.x) hasn't seen an update since July and no further updates are planned. This version of the app uses an older content source that is no longer supported by the Church.

Re: Gospel Library Crashing
There haven't been any other reports of this behavior, nor any similar to it. An app, especially a UWP app, should not be able to freeze a computer. If you can't even ctrl-alt-delete out of the app, this sounds more like failing or very low-quality hardware (like a low cache 5400rpm laptop drive, wh...

Re: General Conference 2017 Not Updating
Gospel Library for Windows is only supported on devices running Windows 10 Anniversary Update and newer, though the app should still run on all versions of Windows 10. Versions of Gospel Library on versions of Windows prior to Windows 10, including Windows 8, 8.1, and RT, are not supported and will ...

Re: Feature request 'Notes'
It sounds less like you want this for the notes feature (where this really would not work particularly well) and more for the journal entries feature. I'll pass the feedback along. For now, to reduce clicks, I'd recommend using the Marked Notes feature. This will mark the note and bring up the note ...

Re: Play starts media even when program is not running
The developers are aware of this quirk and, after finishing with a more urgent issue, will be looking into this issue to see what can be done about it. It would appear something has gone weird with how Windows handles app audio, as we've not made any changes to how our app handles audio since before...

Re: System.Exception Error in Windows 10
How your device interacts with installed apps is a operating system issue, not an app issue. At best, Microsoft should be able to help you figure out what's going on, as it is their operating system having the issue. If you're having to reinstall it every time you want to use it, you'll definitely n...
