Are you possibly having issues that might have been from porting the member data from MIS to MLS? Thanks James for explaining what you thought the problem is, but no we are not having issues because of porting from MIS to MLS. We never had MIS to begin with. However the way that MLS is currently set-up stake clerks can not update membership records directly and can only use the system to...

People Search - I'd like to be able to connect with members I knew in my ward three wards ago. Is there some way to allow people to search for other members wherever but still address privacy? option to allow or disallow search from outside ward, stake, etc...? This reads like a call for Church Soc...

Email and Telephone Contact Details in MLS

Are there plans to alter the way MLS handles email and telephone contact details? Currently only one email for a household can be recorded. The same goes for phones numbers. Although there are two phone number fields, if two are listed they are the same for all members of the household. However the ...

Outside North America

What is the progress on extending the facility of running local unit websites to areas outside the USA and Canada? LDS.org.uk has recently had a facelift driven by the Public Affairs department, but we are still waiting anxiously in the hope that we will be able to use the web as an additional chann...
