what we do is have them fill up before they leave and then have them fill up again. We then pay them for the 2nd fillup. This way it is the actual gas used for the activity, this does not address the IRS reimbursemtn rate of 0.55 mile, but it is as close as we can get for actual cost.

If you have MLS 3.3 or greater, you go into the donor information and there is a box you can check to include the spouse's name on donor statements.

Well, I think that they are a good verification that the checks have been submitted, or that the deposit has been recorded at church headquarters. I always save them and attach it to the tithing records for the week, or the summary report that the bishop and the clerk sign. So, that when the auditor...

I also received a message from SLC that they would be sending out a donation statement since the member donated to more than one ward. So, has anyone heard if this is going to be the case churchwide?

If so, it would save a lot of time looking up old ward information for the members.

Getting donation information from dissolved ward

We have a member that moved in in 2010. The majority of their donations were made in the previous ward. This ward, since their move, has been disolved. So, my question, is how does the couple get their donation information? The ward is disolved, so does the stake finance clerk from the previous have...

Donations for 2010 input in 2011

Has anyone checked in the CUBS system that knows if the cutoff for donations is set up like it was for last year, that we could make two batches on Sunday, one for the 31st and one for the 2nd, rather than have to make a special batch on the 31st. I would rather input these on Sunday. Let me know if...

Here is the MLS version we have 3.3.0_19389

But, I checked it today and it still shows the field Show Spouse on donor report, right below the name. So, you may need to update to the more current MLS.

Thank you for the update. Did this appear to be a general setting, or is it selectable for each summary? And yes, I think this will settle down some folks here. It is a general setting for each donor. So, you have to go into each donor and there is a checkbox that allows one to check. I think it sa...

I was over at the church and I got a message from SL saying that you can go into the view update donors. There is a option that you can show the donor's spouse on the year end donation summaries. When I printed of these reports, it showed the main donor and then it showed their spouse on the line be...
