Re: 4th WAP
I don't know if this was resolved, but the length of the network cable can have an effect on the WAP's ability to set up. I usually connect my WAP's to the router with a shorter cable for the first time, then once it's configured by the router, move it out to the installation location.

Re: LDS.org access issues
Craig, I don't know if you ever got this resolved. We had a similar issue with Century link. Our issue was with logging in. We could navigate to lds.org, because it was being served via Akamai, but the login servers were unroutable. Our resolution was to have century link move the meetinghouse to a ...

Re: Windows 10 Upgrade
We had 2 computers fail the windows 10 upgrade and when they rebooted they could not access anything on the internet. Ping of internet addresses worked but ping by name failed to resolve DNS address. We fixed the issue by running the commands found at http://www.velocitymicro.com/SupportArticles/Ar...

Re: Who gets a projector?
We had issues like this all the time. I started having the projector locked in the agent Bishop's office a few weeks before stake conference to keep it from happening. When we moved to an HD broadcast, one of the first expenses was the purchase of an HD capable projector and laptop for each building...

Re: Physical access to firewall
My SP didn't feel (and I agree with him) that I needed full access to all the bishop and SP offices, ... I have found having access to the offices to be a rarely used, but valuable resource in my calling. I have used that access to test wireless signals in the Bishop and Stake Presidents offices wh...

I thought I'd chime in and go over what we have done in our Stake Center. Like some others have mentioned in this thread, we are doing HDMI over cat-6. We are using converters from Kanex. It takes in a single HDMI signal, and splits it to 4 ethernet runs. In our building, we feed output from our vid...

While the Communicator is still around, I would probably opt for the PC instead. The stakes around here haven't had a great experience with it. The main problem I've had is that it isn't very robust. If it loses its stream, you have to fully reboot the communicator before you can restart the stream....

Stake Split and Locations
Our stake recently split, and the new stake inherited 4 buildings, 2 each from the other stakes that it was split from. Is there some way to move the locations from one stake to another, or do I need to recreate the locations in the new stake and have all the organizations recreate their events? It ...
