If you enter a good Membership Record number, but a bad confirmation date, you will see the following error: Quote: Error: The supplied Membership Record Number and Confirmation Date are not valid. Having seen a lot of members struggle with sign-on and registration processes lately, may I offer the...

If there is going to be any transition period, could the registered users page for admins be modified to show both the old and new account usernames or some other means to help see who is and isn't moving across to LDSAccount? That would be a good idea from the Web Administrators point of view... b...

Yes, Step 16 is wrong. The registration is not complete until the user signs in to the website and accepts the website terms and reenters the e-mail address. :( Thanks, Dennis Oh whoops! I guess I didn't figure to add that, because I think most people test out their new credentials anyway. Thanks f...

Your suggestion regarding the length of an Email is a valid consideration. I've found from personal experience that the shorter the message the greater possibility I have of it being considered as junk mail. The wording is also important. I've found that if I make my messages too long, they don't g...

The link that was formerly on the home page of the Church web site has been removed. Perhaps they realized the problem. I noticed that too. That's probably a good thing. Most people would likely assume that any outgoing links from the LDS.org are completely safe for browsing. Although, to other pos...

Since this message seems to be targeted towards people who already have a LUWS login, I would strongly recommend that you change the first few steps. You will save your members a lot of time and hassle if you direct them to Go to the new LUWS login page (by following the Switch your account now lin...

That's exactly it. :) Everyone can feel free to alter the text to their wishes.

Introduction to LDS Account

Hello all! I used the following code to create a News and Information item that introduces my ward members to LDS Account. You can change the text up a little bit to make it more personal, but this is basically how it goes! :) [html]<p>The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is transitioning...

A word of caution: I have had intermittent success with Firefox flagging misspelled words. As a result I have resorted to clicking the Preview Post button before sumbitting a post. For some reason Firefox is able to flag mispelled words in the editing window much better after I do that. Perhaps my ...
