I like your idea of using it to schedule canning sessions.

Great idea! Thanks for the suggestion. It might even take some of the burden off us moderators in correcting spelling errors  Or relieve some embarrassment on my part from not taking the time to check my spelling. It wasn't until I opened something in Firefox that I realized that I made t...

The simple fact is that almost all young people are spending time on YouTube. You can try to fight that, but you'll lose. So the Church has decided instead to improve the overall quality of YouTube by posting good content. I don't think the Church is enticing people to go to somewhere dangerous; ra...

Check Spelling with Firefox

I remember seeing somewhere that someone said they copied their posts and email broadcasts into Microsoft Word to spell check them. I just wanted to point out a discovery I just made... :) When you use Mozilla Firefox for your web browser, you can right-click in the field you are typing in, and clic...

I was a bit shocked this morning when I discovered the LDS.ORG link to MormonMessages. It was very pleasant looking at the different church videos. However, I quickly discovered that MormonMessages is NOT a safe place to play. I certainly hope this is not being advertised as an official church site...

YAY!

I don't know anything officially, but one clue is that if you use the beta login page to login, but use your old LUWS credentials (and you don't yet have an LDS Account), you receive a message that says that "You have 35 days before this user name will expire." So the old credentials expi...

This happened to a member of our ward too.

We experienced the same problem with a member of our ward. He could not remember his password, so he tried to reset it multiple times and was still not able to log in. He was very frustrated with it, and I felt bad for not being able to help him further. Any word on when LDS Account will be the excl...

How is this going to affect the current registered users? Will they be required to re-enroll and obtain an LDS Account? (I know having multiple credentials is annoying, but I hope that I don't have to run an enrollment campaign to switch all the users.) That's a good question Dennis. I'd like to ex...

It was an article posted on the LDS Tech main page when LDS Account was first announced.

Thank you!

Hooray!

I am thrilled about the switchover!

Is there any document written up introducing the new LDS Account that I could refer my ward members to? If not, that's okay, I can write one up... but I didn't want to duplicate any work that has already been done!
