YAY!

Yes, actually very soon there will be a wiki page. I'll post here once that wiki page is complete. *More drooling* Oooooooh! Drool and computers don't mix too well, I guess... :( But I'm so excited! I can't wait to see that Wiki page! :D Maybe I'll do a dance instead. Thanks Tom!

You've been busy... and BZZZ I have an idea!

The next level is to have ward members actively participate and interact with the website. I haven't had much success at this level. Unless I can come up with ideas that encourage this sort of activity, I doubt that I will have a lot of success at this fourth level. Wow! You have been busy! Great w...

But you CAN link back!!!

Creating the table was quite simple and with a little time, it looked pretty good (with the noted exception of being able to add an Anchor and refer back to the lesson material located on the lds.org site). Okay, I just tested the tip that was given in the Tips and Tricks thread. I can't give credi...

I'll play with it...

Any ideas or hints on using HTML on the site? Let me tinker with it a little and see what I can figure out for you. It's a good idea! In the "Tips and Tricks" thread on the first page, someone listed a tip how to link inside the Ward Website. Now, whether it will work to link to lessons o...

I know the feeling!

And I'd answer that by saying that members will want to use the web site when they find the information they need. The leaders have to support the site by making sure the admin is somehow in the loop. In my stake that was done by no longer distributing the calendar and proclaiming the on-line calen...

No, but you should have the support of someone who does. I would assume the Bishop is supportive of what you are doing. If not, then maybe you need to have a little talk with him. Getting information is a problem that dates back to Sacrament Programs, so nothing new there. The Bishop is supportive ...

Haha, that's funny. But good idea!

If it's not on the website, the room/building is not reserved and/or the activity hasn't been approved. ;) Seriously, who is approving the activities without it getting to you? IF you can get all your approvers in line then the information should be flowing to you. Haha! :D Unfortunately, I'm not i...

Right now, my big challenge is getting the ward leaders to submit information and calendar events to the website. I listen the best that I can in meetings and take notes of everything that I think might be relevant. But, it also means that I am often unable to gather information in a timely manner....

I love this trick! It works very well for linking to anywhere on the Ward Website. So, to implement this trick... I created a "Website Bulletin" News and Information item with links to updated information and upcoming events. I am thrilled with this tip! :D Oh, one more thing... I update ...
