Re: Ward Website Admin...Access the LCR? Please!

kellymab - I totally agree! For birthdays, I only use those to make sure I add Scouts, Youth, etc, to the proper group for texting. We always let people opt out if they want to. I always talk to people when they first move in and ask them if they'd like to receive ward texts. Yes, being able to see ...

Re: Ward Website Admin...Access the LCR? Please!

I LOVE the LDS Tools app, and use it all the time! I try to get everyone in our ward to use it! Lots do now!

For example, do you really not expect YW leaders to store the girls' numbers in their phone to be able to text them all about a reminder for an activity?

Re: Ward Website Admin...Access the LCR? Please!

I'm just doing as the bishop asked me to :)

Are you saying that you don't store anyone's email addresses or phone numbers on your phone? That's all I'm doing! If the church had a way to text people, I'd totally use it!

Ward Website Admin...Access the LCR? Please!

I am the Ward Wesbite Admin. I was also the YW secretary until last week. I now don't have access to the LCR anymore :( As website admin, I also keep everyone's information up-to-date. I like to always check the move ins, move outs, birthdays, new people's email and phone numbers, and etc, etc. I do...

Re: Laurel Advisor not able to edit

Okay, but how do you change the assigned teacher without deleting and recreating the whole thing? We have a new Laurel Advisor as of a month ago :)

Re: Laurel Advisor not able to edit

Basically, the YW Pres and Laurel Advisor are over the Laurels. 1st counselor and Mia Maid Advisor are over the Beehives. And 2nd counselor and Beehive Advisor over the Beehives. If you look at the month of May for the curriculum for YW, there are 6 lessons to choose from. They like to switch back a...

Re: Laurel Advisor not able to edit

We talked about this in our meeting, and sadly, no one wants to use this feature because the Advisors can't edit it. Is there anyway to change these permissions so they can use it?

Laurel Advisor not able to edit

Hello. Our laurel advisor is not able to go in to the Lesson Schedule and edit to put her name as the one teaching. She doesn't see the Edit Pencil like the Presidency sees. Is this on purpose? I think it would be nice with anyone that has a calling in YW be able to Edit it. Or are we doing somethin...

Re: display cub scouts?

I understand for private reasons for other wards, but ward members can see kids in their ward under the directory anyway. I know the Young Women leaders love that they can click on Ward Organizations --> Beehives, and see the girls they're over. It would just be nice for Cub Scouts leaders to be abl...
