I use third party applications for this. Here's a list of certified third party apps. Roots Magic Essentials is a good one. You can sync with New Family Search and then view a list of all people who need ordinances done.

It seems as though dashes are required when entering the membership number. If this is true it should be specified.

Having been one who served in a mission office recently, I can say that this is GREATLY needed. It's good to hear that the release is near.
