Sleeping computers & software pushes

I read that we should be leaving our ward computers on for 5 hours or more each week so it can receive Sophos updates & software pushes. Yet, if the computer is set to sleep, I'm not sure if those pushes can take place. Does anyone know if those updating activities will wake the computers or whe...

Re: Windows 10 local unit password keeps changing

I did try leaving the password field blank thinking exactly that but it's not that. My guess is some default.

Windows 10 local unit password keeps changing

I'm getting a new Windows 10 computer ready to install for a ward. Followed Windows 10 setup instructions creating a password for the local unit profile. I then noticed a program or two I wanted didn't get installed so I re-ran LDSProvisioning.exe and after its lengthy updating I attempted to log in...

Re: New Windows 10 Computer

Following instructions for setting up new Windows 10 computer and put [redacted] for the unit's password. The machine probably rebooted when I left the room after re-running LDSProvisioning and now the password won't let me back in to the unit account. Is there a default password that it might have ...

old building tech retrofit?

I'm hearing rumors of older church buildings being retrofitted with new technology. Specifically, I'm wondering if anyone here has seen the FM group redo audio, video, etc. capabilities to bring them up to standard. We have new wireless in our 32 year old building but the rest leaves something to be...

Two firewalls, one building. How to fix?

One of the buildings in our stake is showing two firewalls. I've attached a screen shot. How do we go about getting the inactive one removed. The FM group knows nothing about this.

Thank you.

Attaching PDF's are go and no go

I've been creating some meetinghouse tech PDFs and uploading them to the Newsletter section. One particular PDF is one I didn't create myself but rather is an Epson projector manual. Its 3.7 MB size comes in under the 5 MB size limit but every time I attempt to upload it I get "ERROR Service Un...

Building library tech inventories?

As a high councilor over technology in our stake I'm attempting to assist in establishing building libraries equipped with the necessary technology items that will allow members easy access to showing videos, still images and playing audio. I need to present a list of these tech items to the stake s...
