Thanks for looking into this, everyone. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one and that it's not an lds.org problem; hopefully the Firefox devs will get it figured out soon.

Also, it looks like if you use Coral IE Tab and click the "Print" button on the article page, it prints all four pages.

The article was "Content with the Things Allotted unto Us" by Elder Neal A. Maxwell. The print preview had the same problem. The options should be Firefox defaults -- 0.5" margins on all sides, portrait, "shrink to fit page width" checked, and normal headers/footers (title, URL, page number, date/ti...

Problem printing articles longer than 2 pages?

I noticed this today when I tried printing out a couple of Ensign articles from LDS.org. I was printing from the Gospel Library (not the PDF version of the magazine). The first two pages printed fine, but for some reason everything after that got cut off except for the copyright information, which p...

The ward has put on musicals in the past (before I moved in), but the new bishop was a bit concerned at how expensive the licensing fee was to perform a musical (not to mention materials for sets and costumes), so we're looking at this as an alternative. We would be performing songs from musicals (i...

Performing songs from Broadway Musicals - License needed?

I'm sorry if this isn't really appropriate for this forum, but I'm hoping someone here has had some experience with this. We're considering having an activity where members of the ward would perform songs from a number of Broadway musicals. A question came up about whether we'd need a license to per...

Closed year -- not all donations in

I closed out 2009 today and started printing tax statements. One person I handed a statement to asked why it was missing two of her checks. Apparently she donated at tithing settlement (the last week we had it) and mailed another check to the bishop afterwards. We then had two weeks where church was...

Refund fee for activity

We recently had our ward Super Activity. One of our members paid but wasn't able to go. Each time someone has paid for the activity, I put it into the Other category (we have an "Other: Super Activity" subcategory). I've heard that I need a receipt in order to write any checks like this, so I'm wond...

Assuming there are Debian or Ubuntu packages for the programs you'd want to include, you could probably use Remastersys to create your own Debian- or Ubuntu-based distro. I'd recommend using one of these instead of creating your own distro from scratch. I haven't used Remastersys myself, but the tut...
