Stop Payment
What is the process to ensure stop payment on a check is in place? This check was written from the other category. It could be as simple as voiding in MLS and that triggering whatever needs to happen but I want to be sure so I ask the experts.

Question and a wish
I need to change the category of an expense from an other category (which the check was written from) to a budget category (which was the real intent). How can I go about this? A simple transfer does not seem to let you move funds from a budget category to other (which is what need to happen since t...

Wish list
So it sounds like a new usuable feature would be to have the ability to push news items down to wards in the same manner that calander items can be. This would eliminate the need to have each individual ward administrator retype the same information.

Wish or Existing Feature?
Is there a way for a stake to "push" news items down to one or all wards (similar to calendar items)? Our stake has a weekly email bulletin that goes out to auxiliary heads and bishops as well as ward program people. This bulletin contains a section of select announcements that the stake w...

I would suggest inspecting your financial statement. What major category does the charge show up in? Budget or Other? In the detail statement, if there is a corresponding transfer for each phone charge, then it is being paid for by CHQ and you can use the reimbursed other category. Otherwise, use y...

OK I want to do this right. Now I am not sure if I am using that reimbursed other account correctly and I would like to check with you. After quite a bit of coordination, we got all of our unit phone bills going through Granite so we never see rugular phone bills. Our stake is an agent stake for Sin...

Paying for internet
I know this subject has been addressed here but I can not locate the thread. Our FM guy just told us that the stake is responsible for unit internet connections unless a FHC is involved in which case they pay. We have two building in the stake that have or need a broadband connection for MLS only. I...

Funding the Meetinghouse Library
How is this normally done in a multi ward stake center? Does the agent Bishop pay for supplies then invoice the wards or is the stake involved? Some of our equipment is being updated but that is handled by FM. How do funds work for normal supplies such as paper, toner and updated resource orders fro...

Ward Missionary Account
There is a unit in our stake that has never done a 0 balance reconciliation with no temporary items (how they have passed an audit in the last three years is a  issue). I am attempting to straighten that out and we have got their other category taken care of but the ward missionary account...
