The files that MLS is "processing" are mainly membership updates from the unit computers. You would be amazed at how much updating goes on between send/receive routines. I also agree with Alan, the wiki article is a pretty extensive list of information that is transmitted to and from MLS.

Ditto on this - usually reinstalling the print drivers will help. Both the Microsoft USB driver and the one from HP for the printer.

Membership information should only be given to the members themselves and the bishopric. I'm sure Alan will be here soon to correct this if needed, but in my ward only addresses and phone numbers are shared.

Don't forget to check off the voided checks in the month that they show on the finance statement, the amounts will show as zero, but the still need to be checked off (as you would a cleared check) otherwise, you will be out the amounts.
