We informed everyone that on a certain date (about a month in the future), we were going to turn off the classic calendar. We told them it was fine to use the classic calendar until then, but that they should have the new calender at LDS.org loaded for anything after the cutoff date we selected. On...

It doesn't seem to me to be all that confusing, as long as you don't have a false expectation that the ward and stake websites have moved. There is only one place for ward and stake websites at this point -- the place it has always been, currently called "Classic Ward and Stake Websites". That's wh...

Someone sent me the link to this and I hadn't seen the other one ... Entering Sunday Lesson Schedule ... so I got excited to add the schedule but didn't see it on the new version, so I asked. Thanks! I appreciate the info. I will read the other thread.

On the new version or the Classic version? I don't see an option for Lessons of any kind on the new version.

I made up a "Combined YM/YW Calendar", so those interested in either of these auxiliaries should check, or subscribe, to this one as well as the YW or the YM Calendar and would see the activities that are for both the YW and YM. I can see the logic of wanting to have certain activities appear on mul...

I logged onto lds.org with my Samsung Galaxy Tablet 10.1 from Verizon Wireless on my home WiFi and I could see both the Directory and the Calendar. I have a choice of browsers and I chose Firefox and it worked just fine. Margie Stroble I should of included that my Tablet is also an Android! I take ...

I logged onto lds.org with my HTC Droid Incredible from Verizon Wireless on my home WiFi and I can see the Directory just fine but can not see the Calendar. I also get a pretty blue screen. Although blue is my favorite color, I'd rather see the Calendar! I don't know what default browser my Droid us...

Not that it really matters now, but I'm curious why you didn't do the iCal import I suggested earlier. That would have saved a lot of manual work. Was that option not available to you on the Setup & Import screen, or did you just decide to do it manually anyway? Although I do appreciate your sugges...

Well, I never heard back from CHQ and with needing to have all of this resolved, it took me 3 days, an hour here, 2 or 3 hours there, when I had time to devote to it, to get all of the 2012 entries from the old version entered into the new version, one entry at a time. I logged into the old version ...

Another option you might consider is to go to the Classic Calendar (the user view, not the Admin view), and do an iCal export and save the result as a file. Then you can import that iCal file into the new Calendar. It won't be as slick as the import feature, since you'll have to manually move event...
