With the Safari iPad browser, scrolling within an individual frame is done by scrolling with two fingers instead of one. While this slows you down a tad, it actually works quite well once you get the hang of it. Try putting two fingers together within the "Subscribed Calendars" frame and then scroll...

I had the opportunity to go and see Michael's setup this morning. This is top notch and the Val Vista Stake will be adopting some of these ideas. SPecefically the attic mounted Garage Door extended center camera.

Good reply JD.. I too agree that checking for conflicts is not only necessary, but a great feature that has actually saved my Stake from scheduling conflicts on more than one occasion. Porterjl - If this feature somehow prevents you from scheduling something the way you would like, then your calenda...

I am on the High Council over facilities and also over technology. I was assigned as a Stake Clerk in MLS in addition to my other callings (approved by the Stake President) so that I could see the online capabilities and become familiar enough with them to be able to teach other leaders in the Stake...

We currently use two EVI-D70 cameras that are both controlled remotely from the tech room. On camera is mounted on a custom built shelf above the left rear door of the chapel, and the other one mounted on the center volleyball pole in the cultural hall. We have a small round table with a hole cut ou...

I don't know if there are issues with posting links to solutions that are not free, but I have been using $39.99 program called "Real Player Plus". It allows a popup when viewing any online video which will download the video to a video library. You can then go into the application and create a play...

I am the Stake PFR and was wondering if anyone can suggest a way to improve this type of experience? Shouldn't the process be easier, and shouldn't the cost of supplies be billed to the Unit instead of charged to the caller? This is an email I just received from a Bishop in my Stake. yes, I have alr...

New Calendar - Stake Level Permissions

I am on the High Council in charge of training new building schedulers. We are utilizing the new calendar. How can I, as a Stake Leader gain access to all of the Stake's Calendars so that I will not only be able to see them, but change anything and everything that I need to see and change under my s...

The important part of an audio mixer

That is a great suggestion for an audio mixer. That's probably why it is in the Wiki :) The goal is generally to receive XLR mic inputs, adjust the levels to the desired volume and send the audio over a compatible cable to the webcast encoder. There are many mixers out there that will do the minimum...

Video and Audio Mixer

We (like most Stakes) don't have a very extravagant budget for these things, so after MUCH research we went with a fairly low cost video mixer. http://www.ambery.com/auvimidiefpr.html A lot of Stakes are using this one, and we took a chance on purchasing from E-Bay for $500. It does the trick after ...
