European Satellite Changes

Apparently some changes occurred last week that affect European satellite receivers using a universal LNB. STSs have been asked to check that our systems are still working.

Can anyone shed any light on what has actually changed? The UK&I satellite help desk can't answer the question.

I am surprised this hasn't been asked before too. I have been involved in numerous conferences and we have always wanted to be able to collect funds electronically. To me the most obvious answer would be to have the church collect the money centrally. The church can take cards at distribution, why n...

Montecello uses the wrong 'g' - perhaps Baskerville is a better match?

Many video mixers can do 'luma key'. This is like chroma key (green screen) except instead of based on chrominance is based on luminance. This is fine for text overlay as you can have a black background which will not be shown and text can be shown over the top. You can use something as simple as po...

I've been trying to import some ical files from Google today and they keep failing with the message: We encountered an error with your ICS file. You may need to create a new ICS file, or try again later. This has been happening even if I trim down the ical file to a single event. Is this a known pro...

It does appear that they will only be rebroadcast next weekend. You could cross your fingers and hope that the MP4 is available to download by then. Try to borrow a copy from nearby stakes or record the internet stream from your TV.

I'd have a look at this page and the lyngsat pages linked from it: http://www.byutv.org/about/CountryInfo/8-32 I don't think it is on Galaxy23 FTA. According to this page it is encrypted on G23. http://www.lyngsat.com/packages/olympusat.html Have a look here to see what satellites you should be able...
