Re: Membership record for new converts
As a ward clerk, I meet with the full-time missionaries directly after the Sacrament meeting where the confirmation takes place and review with them the baptism and confirmation record to make sure that it is correctly and completely filled in, including the ward and stake unit numbers. They give me...

Re: Many households that are in the ward directory do not show up in the LCR system
The problem may be the assignment of households to Elders Quorum vs High Priest Group. You may need to adjust the quorum/group assignment of each household before assigning the household to home teachers. Re: Second Address Line
I too wish that the LCR software would NOT try to force the apartment number onto the second address line. Many reports do not show the second address line. Re: Attaching sources to living individuals
I believe that russelhltn is correct; Family Tree does NOT support attaching sources to living person records. The ability to do so is a bug.

"Indexing Director" is NOT = "Family History Consultant"
I just received a memo stating that MLS has been updated to remove "Indexing Director" as a standard calling and incumbents have been moved to be "Family History Consultants". As a current ward clerk and a former Stake Indexing Director, I ask that this decision be reconsidered. ...

I had the same problem on Friday, 24 Apr 2015, but it is fine now (Saturday, 25 Apr 2015). So, this problem is intermittent.

This turned out to be a training issue. I'll ask them show me the problem in person from now on before escalating to this forum.

Re: Repeated system clock failures while inputting tithing b
Windows is usually configured to automatically synchronize the pc clock to "internet time" on a scheduled basis. It may be that Windows is syncing the pc's clock to internet time every Sunday during the time you're entering donations. This would cause MLS to complain that the clock has &qu...
