A family in my ward moved to a new place with in ward boundaries and their old location still shows on the map. They moved about month or 2 ago. I would take a look at the lds.org/maps site to see if its updated their, but i'm getting it all in text.

new youth site now public

The new site looks much better than the old. It uses the new menus and search function with search suggestions. Like some of the other subsites the church has such as institute.lds.org, it has its own unique "branding." The site has its own Judy and bread crumb look. We are getting a sneek...

I would assume that there is no problem with that. It seems that the church av department uses it alot for forms.

Considering the fact that the site is already in spanish and portuguese, the church is probably very interested in making it available in other languages.

Question about Personal Progress Website

I understand that it is still in beta, but I find it strange that the site still uses the old menu for navigation. Now that I'm able to have a little "fun" with the old menu, I see that the current one looks much better. With the menu being the old design, the search function is not workin...

FHC Computer Policy

Voluntary donations of computer hardware or funds to buy new computers can be accepted, but donations should not be solicited. The Family History Department discourages accepting donated equipment that needs to be repaired or upgraded. Also there are some relatively low...

From my understanding, the only people allowed to upload a photograph to the site are the heads of household. So, it is really up to the parents whether or not they want to do that.

New My Study Notebook

I'm really liking the new format, it is much easier to navigate. They finaly put in the journal entries and 2 different ways to view your highlighted scriptures/talks. They put a bar like the one on facebook for chat that includes a place for bookmarking, creating a journal entry, sharing and the ab...

New Family Section of LDS.org

Of course, the new section contains just as many graphics as the rest of the site (I don't have any problem with them). I'm not impressed that some pages take up the whole width of the screen, and some don't with the navigation bar to the side. The section is incorporated with Mormon.org where peopl...
