Re: LCR 3.0 Beta

Never mind, I found it. I see that I have to go into the members record and they changed the "Callings" tab to "Callings/Classes" where you can assign them to a quorum different than their default.

Thanks!

Re: LCR 3.0 Beta

Thanks, but I am not sure I am explaining my issue clearly. Yes, I would like to assign them to be taught by a home teaching companionship from the Elders Quorum, but they show up under the High Priests list and only High Priests companionship's are listed for me to assign. How do I get the family t...

Re: LCR 3.0 Beta

Thanks, I appreciate the response. Regarding my second question, it appears that families are assigned to a quorum for home teaching. If they need to be moved to another quorum to make an appropriate home teaching assignment, how do I do that? An example is a couple where the man does not hold the p...

Re: LCR 3.0 Beta

General Question on LCR 3 and Home Teaching - If we are in the Beta, do we now do all home teaching reporting and changes in the Beta only and stop using MLS? (previously I have read that this would be the case, but I don't know on the beta) - If we should keep in the Beta, how do I move a family (P...

Re: Quarterly Report - Sacrament Meeting Attendance

Strange. I believe the attendance numbers are used mostly for budget allocation and to allow ward and stake leaders to direct their attention to issues in the unit such as low attendance of the members on record or a high number of members for the building size. I think in all three of these scenari...

New Handbook Coming?

I noticed that the Church had been issuing new policy handbooks about every four years, but last year we did not get a new one. I always look forward to the handbooks coming out as they often clarify the last manual and provide updated guidance for current issues. Just wondering?

Re: What is the purpose of PEC?

I have been in several units where you could not tell one meeting from the next apart from who was in the room. This year we made a change and have Ward Council on the first and third Sunday and have PEC right after Ward council on the third Sunday. This PEC meeting is no more than 20-30 minutes and...

Adjust Seminary Enrollment

Hi Everyone, In the reports section of the Leaders and Clerks resources is a Seminary Registration report that pulls from ldsces.lds.org a list of students it thinks should be enrolled in seminary. I noticed it cannot determine which of the youth are not yet in high school or have recently graduated...

Re: Boundary Exceptions

I wonder if those on the forum could help me on this policy. I have read 13.6 and see the requirement for Stake and First Presidency approval, but I recall recently reading somewhere (I think in the manuals) a statement that talks about how members may attend other wards and partake of the sacrament...

Re: Monitor wireless connectivity

This is a total work around, but you may consider hooking up a Dropcam in the building. It will notify you when there is an issue with the wifi or internet via email/text as their server checks for connection to the internet frequently (every 15 minutes I think). I guess you could even point it some...
