Re: LCR 3 and New Move In's home teaching
Yes, I agree it can be valuable. You could also mess with another units stats pretty easily as well :D Also, there are rare circumstances where a family comes into a ward, calls for help with the move in and you don't get their records until the next month so you would like to count the month prior ...

Re: LCR 3 and New Move In's home teaching
Thanks for the response! So from your response, this is my understanding: - The home teaching record travels with the member, and we will be able to see their past visits by their former unit. - Left untouched, those visits in prior months do not affect the statistics of my unit, and the visit recor...

LCR 3 and New Move In's home teaching
As we have started using LCR 3 for home teaching, I have noticed the following: - Let's say a new family moved into the ward in June and you pull in their records in June as well. - On LCR they show check boxes available to mark for being home taught for April, May and June. - If you mark the April ...

Re: LCR 3.0 Beta
Never mind, I found it. I see that I have to go into the members record and they changed the "Callings" tab to "Callings/Classes" where you can assign them to a quorum different than their default.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: LCR 3.0 Beta
Thanks, but I am not sure I am explaining my issue clearly. Yes, I would like to assign them to be taught by a home teaching companionship from the Elders Quorum, but they show up under the High Priests list and only High Priests companionship's are listed for me to assign. How do I get the family t...

Re: LCR 3.0 Beta
Thanks, I appreciate the response. Regarding my second question, it appears that families are assigned to a quorum for home teaching. If they need to be moved to another quorum to make an appropriate home teaching assignment, how do I do that? An example is a couple where the man does not hold the p...

Re: LCR 3.0 Beta
General Question on LCR 3 and Home Teaching - If we are in the Beta, do we now do all home teaching reporting and changes in the Beta only and stop using MLS? (previously I have read that this would be the case, but I don't know on the beta) - If we should keep in the Beta, how do I move a family (P...

Re: Quarterly Report - Sacrament Meeting Attendance
Strange. I believe the attendance numbers are used mostly for budget allocation and to allow ward and stake leaders to direct their attention to issues in the unit such as low attendance of the members on record or a high number of members for the building size. I think in all three of these scenari...

New Handbook Coming?
I noticed that the Church had been issuing new policy handbooks about every four years, but last year we did not get a new one. I always look forward to the handbooks coming out as they often clarify the last manual and provide updated guidance for current issues. Just wondering?
