Recurring events with Church Webcast scheduler

We are using a Mevo camera using RTMP with the Church Webcast system. We would like to schedule a recurring event for ward sacrament meetings. This would simplify scheduling and let us use the same links for the RTMP stream and member viewing links each week. Is there a way to schedule a recurring e...

Church Webcast link without member login?

We would like to use the Church Webcast system and provide an event link to members and non-members.

Is there a way to provide a webcast event link that doesn’t require a member login?

Thanks.

Closed Caption in General Conference videos?

I recently made some clips from General Conference for personal use.

While I am able to make clips from the web or mobile Gospel Library, I noticed that closed captions are not available in either.

Is closed caption not available for General Conference videos?

Thanks.

Re: FamilySearch Affiliiate - home based office & static IP address

Hi davesudweeks - Thanks for the suggestion. I saw some posts like the one you found. I was an IT guy in a past life, but haven't kept up on the networking and security services available like DDNS, etc. I was hoping a reputable provider like an AT&T or Verizon would offer an additional if not c...

FamilySearch Affiliiate - home based office & static IP address

My wife is interested in setting up a home office as a FamilySearch Affiliate. We have unlimited high speed Internet to the house with secured WiFi within the house. We have a residential Internet plan with Cox. However, Cox does not provide static IPs for residential service. Cox business service p...

Re: Calendar 3.0 - new major version coming

Ward leaders, including auxiliaries, have permissions to schedule ward activities in both the ward and building calendars. This should leave only personal activities, such as wedding receptions and funerals, to be scheduled by a building scheduler on behalf of members. To your point, I’d suggest the...

Re: Syncing the Building / Location Calendars

I agree with wadster21! I just got an email from the agent bishop with all the ward & building events for 2018. They created a PDF to show who has the cultural hall on Wednesday nights, which months which wards clean the building and other classroom assignments. Now that I've entered all of that...

Re: Temple Recommend - digital device scanning at temple?

My understanding is that a member only needs their 10 digit temple recommend number to enter the temple. I know someone whose recommend was so faded that he just kept his number on a slip of paper in his wallet. The temple worker would enter his number at the front desk and let him in. While I curre...

Temple Recommend - digital device scanning at temple?

I was curious if LDS Tools or something like Apple Wallet functionality might soon be available for temple recommends. I no longer carry a wallet as my iPhone case can carry my drivers license and a couple needed bank cards. All other Allstate, Costco and similar cards are stored in my Apple Wallet ...

LDS Music - Numerical Error

I recently downloaded the LDS Music app to an Amazon Fire 5th generation. I discovered an issue when selecting a hymn numerically. For example, selecting hymn 100 (Nearer, My God, To Thee) from the numerical list takes me to hymn 98 (I Need Thee Every Hour). This doesn't seem to happen as much with ...
