Re: Zoom Enterprise Account Admin
Same for me at the ward level. There are a couple of settings locked but HD is not one of them.

Re: Emedded LIve Video using Youtube
That last bit is easy enough.
Go to YouTube.com
Click “View your channel” and select the appropriate channel
Go to youtube.com/account_advanced
Copy your Channel ID shown below
Now, type in youtube.com/channel/PASTE YOUR CHANNEL ID HERE/live
The /live part at the end of the link is the key part!

Re: Getting Audio right with Virtual Sacrament Meeetings
If you are using zoom then just check the box to use original audio when it comes to the hymns. Uncheck the box when someone is speaking. If you need to amplify the organ in someway then there are lots of options. We found using a dynamic mic gives the correct amount of control. Just adjust the dist...

Yes, all controlled through Mevo's own app. The camera is really ideal if you just want a single component, without the need for additional hardware. When you consider it has a 6 hour battery life, wi-fi as well as on board encoding for any streaming platform you choose, it's great value. If you wan...

Re: Sharing our experience with Virtual Sacrament Meeting Broadcasts
That's essentially what many of us have been doing with the mevo start.
It has a fixed focal length but a 3x digital zoom with pan and tilt functionality within the app.

Re: Zoom now requiring emailed login codes
We just share the host key with the ward council so that they can use their own free zoom accounts but take control of any church zoom meetings as necessary.

Re: Church Webcasts using YouTube Live Streams
Generally not a problem with Youtube. Even when a copyright claim is detected, it usually just prevents the video from being monetised. Occasionally depending on the copyright holder, youtube may remove part of the audio track or remove the whole audio track from the video entirely. Luckily, none of...

Re: Zoom sign in from new device requires security code
We have 4 recurring anytime meetings set for each zoom account.
We encourage members of the ward council to join the meeting from their personal account and then use the host key to claim that role, instead of having to sign in to the host account directly.
Seems to work well.

Re: Our Stake's permanent camera setup
Have you tried this to see if it works for you? It could, I just didn't try. I just know that serial/VISCA is the gold standard. This PTZ camera came bundled with the cable that turns it into a DS9 serial, and DS9 serial to USB cables are cheap. I plugged it together and it all worked like a charm....

Re: End of Webcasting in July 2022: Please transition to Zoom
Well, I'm not sure about the recommendation changing, but what I do know is that when Elder Ballard, Elder Holland and Elder Cook visited the British Isles recently, they held a special meeting broadcast to the members over here from the Hyde Park Chapel in London. This was broadcast only on YouTub...
