Re: Our Stake's permanent camera setup
Looks like a great solution. We are fumbling our way towards something more permanent and crucially sustainable in terms of ease to setup etc. We have a similar USB PTZ camera, but made by Angekis. It has UVC protocol that allow us to control the PTZ via the single USB cable without the need for an ...

Re: Notice to STS - Using Zoom Webinars...
We have found that setting on repeating meeting and using it for all of the meeting in the Stake conference makes it easier for members to log on, we use no passcode to further simplify the process. Most members now have smart phone and zoom is easy to down load and use, we have offered a short cla...

Re: Notice to STS - Using Zoom Webinars...
Yes, I am aware of all this. I have been trying to figure out ways to get better audio and QoS with Zoom for weeks. The bottom line is that any little thing can cause problems with Zoom QoS. The Meeting Webcast and YouTube do not have these stability issues. I am trying to figure out how to make th...

Re: More Permanent Setup for Sacrament Meeting Broadcasts
If you're looking to kit out a building that's not a stake centre, you might want to have a look at the Cisco / Tandberg ttc8-02. You can pick them up for very little on ebay. They output a clean HDMI signal. Good 10x optical zoom. Just need a HDMI capture device to get the video feed into a compute...

Re: End of Webcasting in July 2022: Please transition to Zoom
Just I thought I would share what we have done to transition from Broadcasting to Zoom using our pre-wired equipment at the Stake Center. I will share a video link below. I will also share a link for using a GoPro for Zoom in a building that does not have a pre-wired camera. I take it that neither ...

Re: Zoom Webinar use for Stake Conference
In the PDF document that was attached to your post, you mentioned connecting by Bluetooth to a TinySine to use the building's audio. What is a TinySine and how do I find one to purchase? The video quality on a Zoom broadcast is great for Stake Conference, but the audio is not very good. This sounds...

Re: Can I use the house "mic level" out with phantom power?
I'd start by verifying the output from the chapel by itself.
Maybe mislabeled?
Once you are sure of that output by itself then go to the next steps. If it's in fact a line level rather than mic level, your mixer may have other options available to you.

What purpose does OBS serve in your configuration?
Do you have the 'enable original audio' box ticked?
Have you monitored the audio at source by utilising headphones directly at your laptop before transmission via zoom?

Re: Stake Conference Advice, 2 languages
Thanks for the input. I appreciate it. I've tested with ndi for input from mevo to obs, and it works great. The only issue with ndi is that I can only get one camera in that way, ndi can see them all but only lets you select one. Have you been able to have multiple ndi cameras on one machine? I thi...
