We have almost the same setup, google docs for bishopric/ward council and adding items ahead of time and sharing with WC members for reference. I also use LDS Scriptures (not the church set), but the church library looks promising once they get the "My notebook" sync working with the iPad ...

I am interested in those who have iPad's sharing their productivity methods for using their iPad's in presidency meetings and PEC/Ward Council meetings. This is beyond using the church created apps and leveraging lds.org/tools, but what methods do you use to take notes, follow along on a electronic ...

To get prevent the problem you mention, whenever emailing the whole ward we always only use BCC: so no one can reply to all. Seems to have fixed this for us.

For a quick start effort, send a letter to all of the less active members using ward stationery. I find the best way to print reports is to use Firefox and use the Print Preview function. You can then use the scale function to help make the reports fit more appropriately and make more data show up on every page shortening how much room it takes up.

Linkage to "My Study Notebook" on new.lds.org?

Is there any plan to link the notes in Gospel Library with the "My Study Notebook" on new.lds.org? I had thought that earlier this year there was something like this on the road map.

Thanks!

If he has a SmartPhone, have him download Ward Tools and he will have practically no need to access MLS except to print out forms. It is a wonderful tool for a Bishop.

Just create a "Shared Folder" in Google Docs and then privately share it with whomever in the stake you need to.
