It would be better for local leadership if such training items were formalized with a bulletin or letter from Church headquarters. It would cut down on the con...

Ah, the old "I didn't get your check, give me a new one" scam. At least he acknowledges he cashed it once you said it had cleared.

In the meantime, as our stake prepares to put together their 2010 calendar, how can they create it so it can be imported simply into the new LUWS calendar? I didn't see anything about importing functionality. Our stake stopped using calendar software last year and built the 2009 calendar right in L...

It's my understanding that every building in the US has a transmitter system tied into the microphone stand. Individuals in the congregation use a receiver about the size of a deck of cards with a set of headphones. They control their own volume level. The audio comes from the microphone so they hea...

Great idea - save your money

Paying for Acrobat is a waste of Church money when you can create the same agendas, invitations, posters, etc. for FREE with OpenOffice or WordPad. All new Church computers come with OpenOffice installed and WordPad is installed by default with Windows. If you don't already have OpenOffice installed...

We send email to all the bishops and Stake Presidency in my stake to accomplish this. We ask questions or post ideas. It works well to get feedback from others. While we don't share sensitive or confidential info, it's secure to the point that only the bishops and Stake Presidency see the email. I t...

Very good move but I'm puzzled why LUWS and FS accounts can't be...
