The 3.0 software on Windows 7 does not seem to work well with the VC500 or VC600. We would not recommend purchasing this device at this time.

Hi Arlan,

No, MHWC 3.0 does NOT require Expression 4 Pro-- Just the free version. There is no time limit on how long it can stream for.

The V3 software does not require Expression 4 Pro-- There is a free version of encoder that is also available.

When using the software in Windows 7, when you copy the webcast URL from the software and then paste it into Windows Media Player for playback, you may need to change the beginning part of the URL from http: to mms:.
