I actually considered that and tried different settings on the projector. I think it helped a little. But it was hard to tell since my measurement method was kind of crude, and I couldn't measure subtle changes. But, it seemed like I was able to get that 3-4 frame delay down to less than 3 frames by...

This is kind of an old thread, but I wanted to follow up on this since I just did some testing that I thought I'd share with you. As I mentioned in an earlier post, we have this problem in our building, and has continued to be an annoyance. It has been so bad on occasion that there have been several...

Try having a member of the ward/stake with carpenter skills make you a small wooden cart with a lid that can be tilted to accomodate the projector. That's what we have and it works like a charm. We actually have a guy in the stake with a metal shop who built us a very nice steel projector pedestal ...

I just noticed this thread, and thought I'd jump in since I have comments and questions on several of the posts. First of all, thanks Starobelka for the schematic. That is very helpful, since I've always been curious exactly what was in the box, but never have gotten around to actually doing any mea...

Projector on the Podium

I've always wondered how other Stakes deal with this, so I thought I'd just post this general inquiry: We are often asked (as I'm sure you are) to play video clips or slides during a meeting while someone is speaking. But the typical "projector-on-the-pulpit" setup has always bugged me. Th...

Well, that's one way. If you have a mixer with more than one ouput, (such as a monitor feed or auxiliary send) you can "split" at the mixer. The advantage of that is one control can mute the mics for both feeds. Very true. I was just thinking of my setup where I need to be mixing in a dif...

I'd be interested in what kind of benefit condenser mic's hooked into the chapel system would provide? Have you tested that scenario? I only have a couple more broadcasts from this building before I have a new stake center, so I don't want to invest too much. In my previous broadcast using the chap...

I thought I'd add a few comments to address your original question. First of all, just to clarify, you asked about video & audio splitters. But, I think you may actually be looking for a video switch or mixer, and an audio mixer. Responses above have addressed both cases, so I only mention this ...

A couple more questions for you on this: 1. In the first installation with the long drop from the ceiling in the center- Do you get any unwanted vibration or movement because of the long extention arm? This camera can be a little bit quick and jerky with the panning if the operator is not careful. I...

I don't know michaelfish's setup, but a quick Google turned up this ad that I think illustrates how they work. This one isn't cheap. Hopefully someone knows of a less expensive source. Yes, that's the type of lift I am referring to, although this is a more custom installation. I'll try to snap a fe...
