I'll happily post the source... I was just hoping to have it more complete before doing so so there weren't a bunch of versions floating out there... I am using Scribus to create this... Mostly because I'm a student and can't really afford anything better at the moment... But it's actually a pretty ...

Introductory Handout

To better inform my Branch about the Beta LUWS, I created this Handout (PDF below) to explain basic use and function of the new site... This is by no means the final version, I'm posting this version asking for suggestions on how to improve it and to make sure all of my current information is correc...

Seeing as Maps.lds.org has the meeting times and location of every ward/branch already... I don't imagine the meetings being planned "standard" from CHQ wouldn't be a bad start, but I agree with Russell, there are more exceptions than just the church wide events to deal with... It's possib...

YSA Branch Leadership Records

The Presidency of my Branch recently changed and there is some confusion about how to correctly assign them as OOU (Out Of Unit) members with official callings in our branch... Anyone have any experience with this? I'd also like to know if these OOU members will have access to the new LUWS site (bet...

Same here, logged in just fine, but both the calendar and directory don't fully load... Though I noticed that the subscriptions are still working fine... I copied the URL from my main calendar to another just to make sure it wasn't just left over from the last sync but the new one pulled all the eve...

Another Attempt

I made this PDF presentation to try to better explain what and why I'm suggesting this, I understand it's not really a HUGE need and that a full redesign of the site has been talked about for some time, but unless I totally misunderstand how this particular website works it should be nothing more th...

I was on my mission when said movement probably took place, but I fully support the idea and would love to help in the project if at all possible... One of my projects for teaching myself CSS and HTML when I got home was to recreate that exact website using only those two languages... and I think I ...

I know this thread is a bit inactive, but in hopes that the people who originally posted are still interested, here's what I propose. Both my Mission Presidents were cool with this, but some may not be... I carried around a pendrive with the application suite from a site called portableapps.com inst...

Thank you very much, most helpful. I used Thunderbird and it worked beautifully. with the same settings as postbox it worked great. small requirement notice (only in Thunderbird are these tested): on username the "@myldsmail.net" is REQUIRED for login while the server says it wants SSL, it...

not a solution, but I find making a PDF of the ward directory (available on the site) works great on a mobile device, not the BEST option since you have to manually update it every once in a while (not to mention the pdfs aren't formatted for smaller screens... maybe until the rewritten code comes t...
