Uploading files to LUWS, but what about upcoming changes?
Hello, I have the need every once and a while to make a file public for the whole ward (for example, the Budget Disbursements form) so any ward member can download it off of the ward website. With the upcoming directory and calendar, I was wondering if anyone knew of a repository for miscellaneous f...

The procedure for this might depend upon the temple that you're going to. If the temple requires an advance reservation due to its size, then the temple reservation system would suffice to control how many were signed up. Okay... so, is there a Temple Reservation System already in place, or do we h...

so, what is the right way to do this?
So, what would be the right way to do this? The HP Group Leader could help manage/coordinate a ward temple trip, but what about a stake temple trip? I ask because of the seeming logistical problem: if everyone in the stake shows up for the last few sessions of the day, then there won't be enough sea...

Site for temple registration?
I ran across this today: http://parkertempleday.org/ and it seemed like a good idea to help with temple day coordination, however I didn't know if there was a more secure site (https?) that the church has for this sort of thing. Does the church have an official site (https, LDS Account login, etc) f...

Finally made a choice
So, I finally made a choice in which direction to go. I chose LDS Ward Photo Directory Wizard , not because it worked when I downloaded it, but because the developer open sourced it on CodePlex ( http://www.codeplex.com/wardphotodirectory/ ) I just got done updating the code to read the CSV download...

Finding Ancestors Who Need Ordinances
Is there an easy way to find ancestors who need ordinances done? I've tried the suggestions on https://help.familysearch.org/kb/UserGuide/en/nfs/t_nfs_finding_individuals_ordinance_statuses_completed_ordinances.html but my family tree has generations and generations of people and I've spent the past...

Keeping content up-to-date and permissions on the LUWS
Is it reasonable to give people temporary admin access to update a section of the site? Our Sunday School president wanted to update the Lesson Schedules and both the LUWS main admin and I have been fairly busy so we haven't had the chance to do it yet. I thought it would be okay to give the SS Pres...
