Looks like we can send private messages. I sent you a PM with my and my son's email addresses. Thanks again.

Re: Organ-Related App
I'm sure he'd welcome that. Does this forum have private messaging? Or do we trade contact info publicly?

Re: Organ-Related App
Thanks for the insightful reply. Your input is most appreciated. The application came about exactly as you describe. My wife was asked to play the organ, simply because she can play the piano, and provided with no instruction. She started by copying the stops from an organ in another meetinghouse th...

Re: Organ-Related App
My recommendation to him is eventually to add Organ models, and be able to tag the stops for each model. Or tag the customizations. Yes, you can add songs, assuming you register with the app. Once you've customized a song or added it, it's visible to everyone running the app anywhere in the world. I...

Re: Organ-Related App
What he's really looking for is help figuring out the best settings for each hymn, and also whether or not he'll need to add support for multiple organ models, or whether the stops are standard enough to make the organ sound good enough.

Re: Organ-Related App
The app is free and contains no ads. My son basically did his mom a favor, creating the app over the summer break. He also wanted to develop a mobile app for his resume. I agree with you @lajackson. I didn't want to make it seem like I'm trying to advertise it. The name of the app is "Organ Sto...

Organ-Related App
Are there any organists here? My son just built a mobile app designed to help novice organists figure out what stops to use for which hymns. I would call it a work in progress, but it's already on the App Store and Google Play. Would anyone be opposed to my posting the links here, or if so, just ask...

Re: Member Record After Baptism After Excommunication
I have requested "Council Minutes or Name Removal Documents from Headquarters" and asked the Stake President to watch for them. I believe that @eblood66 is correct, and that the appropriate paperwork never got submitted five years ago at her rebaptism, and that it will probably take the cu...

Re: Member Record After Baptism After Excommunication
I'll double check on the blessings being restored. The Bishop at the time is now in the stake presidency and knows the whole story. Thanks.
