Since most of the old subcategories I was using came across under Budget Allocations, and since I don't have much use (at the stake level) for the set subcategories under Budget (Elders Quorum, etc.), I've reset all my subcategories under Budget:Budget Allocations. I'm not sure how critical it is to...

We've been dealing with these issues since July. Resolved some - still waiting for resolution on others. Here is a copy of a note that I sent our ward clerks to help them restore their Y-T-D budget expenditure info. If it's helpful to you, great. I had included marked up screen shots for clarity - s...

I've noticed that since the Canadian conversion in July, most of the MLS functions have slowed considerably. Sometimes it takes so long I find myself wondering whether I actually clicked on an item!

I've also seen these "out-of-turn" adjustments come through when a unit has adjusted their quarterly report to change their attendance figures. The adjustment then reflects the change to the budget allotment for the stake.

Hello DJC,

We have been using the new MLS/CUBS system in Canada for over a month now. If you would like some feedback (in addition to what we have already given LUS) regarding how the clerks are finding the system in real life, just let me know.

It sounds like most options have been explored. Just to chime in my 2 cents - I ask our ward clerks to separate YSAs when they have their own home teachers. If they are still living with their family and visited by the "family HT", then they are not a HoH. One HT per family (or HoH) is the guiding r...

Just to add to what Alan said, our instructions for this audit period are to check the reconciliations from Jan 2010 to May 2010. There is no need to reconcile Jun 2010 and after Jun the system switched so you couldn't do a reconciliation even if you wanted to. Reconciliations are now a thing of the...

Hi YBC, The good news is: with a small membership, your workload shouldn't be too heavy. The bad news is: with a small membership, you may feel like you don't have a lot of support/help/resources. I would suggest you contact your stake clerk and introduce yourself (if he doesn't already know you). T...

You might also check to see if they have one set of home teachers or two. If they have one set of home teachers, each visit will be recorded as one family visited, but the records will show two families (2 hoh). It will reduce the home teaching percentages.

I have found that downloading a fresh copy of MLS, and installing it over the existing copy, sometimes fixes strange behavior. It's quick and easy so worth a try.
