A real quick and easy answer is to just put an extra copy of your routine backup on your USB Drive and take it home with you. I always have a copy of my backup at church and a duplicate at home - just in case.

Does anyone know whether this new system will facilitate electronic delivery of the Stake Summary, just as we now receive electronic delivery of the CUFS?

Man what a lot of work to have to go back that far. As Russellhltn mentioned, you might have to go back prior to Sep 2008. If an error was made to an adjustment (that was made in Sep 2008) to a prior closed batch, the Sep reconciliation wouldn't balance or show the error. I would go back further loo...

I had a similar problem with our stake database. The problem seemed to go away after I downloaded and installed a fresh copy of MLS 3.1.5.

I've also had some of our wards do that when they have been having unusual problems. It seems to fix a number of glitches.

Hope that's helpful to you.

I agree with you. Our stake was finding that clerks were not only using different formats, but also adding extra letters indicating the contact status. We have asked all of our units to use the xxx-xxx-xxxx format only.

This sounds like a great improvement. Some of our older clerks that still struggle with reconciliations will be thrilled that they won't have to do them any more. I'm assuming that since it will follow an MLS upgrade, it will also apply to the family history center finances (??). No time line is ind...

Hi Rwinterton,

I've had the same confusion - I saved, sent, then looked back and found nothing. I found that if I closed the message page, then opened it back up, the message showed up in the sent folder.

Hope that helps.

Monthly Church unit financial statements are not stored with the MLS backup since they are not part of the database. Normally this is not a problem because printed copies should be filed and electronic copies can be requested from CHQ. Hi jdlessley, I wonder if the backups capture more data than th...

Hi SurreyThird,

It basically says that (given the facts you have indicated) the man does not need special permission (or a sealing clearance) from the First Presidency.

Good to go.
