Re: Creating Limited Use Recommends Online
Thinking through the process, it might be handy (though not always feasible) to have a printer in the bishop's office. Otherwise the bishop has to run over to the clerk's office in the middle of the interview to print. The printer in our Clerks office is connected to the Church network and is AirPr...

Re: Replacing OLD style TV and Trolley for Meeting House use...Suggestions?
Here is one I've used recently. Seems to be a good price.

Re: Building library tech inventories?
Every Ward and Stake is different but I have found in mine that Apple TV and Miracast devices (we use the Microsoft Wireless Display adapter) are very handy and are well used. We do have some who people who would prefer to use cables but most like being able to connect wirelessly. If you want to sup...

Re: Connecting the Phone to the TV
I've been planning for a while on posting these directions but kept not thinking about it when I'm at the meetinghouse. Attached are the directions that I typed up for the Apple TV and the Miracast adapter in the meetinghouse. We laminate these and Velcro them to the back of the TV. Any questions, l...

Area emergency preparedness and response guide
The "Area emergency preparedness and response guide" (https://providentliving.lds.org/leader/emergency-preparedness-and-response/area-planning-guide) has limited access. I'm a Ward Clerk (Standard Calling) and Stake Emergency Communication Specialist (Custom Calling) and I am able to acces...

Re: Connecting the Phone to the TV
I'm not familiar with the Microsoft Screen Sharing device. I read the info on Microsoft.com. How much is this? What caused you to pick this instead of the Microsoft Wireless Adapter?

Re: Connecting the Phone to the TV
Microsoft Wireless Display adapter. It works on most recent Android, and most recent Windows 8.1/10, Windows Phone, and some Blackberry. If I were you I would not do Chromecast and do one Miracast and one Apple TV. We have them velcore and zip tied to TV. I can take a picture and send you if you wan...

Re: Connecting the Phone to the TV
How many TVs per building? I don't like people plugging cables in and out of TVs for a couple of reasons but one is that I've seen HDMI ports get damaged by people plugging in and out repeatedly. In my building we have TVs with Apple TV and we have TVs with Miracast. We have one with ChromeCast but ...

LCR map link / Filter Policy
On LDS.org/lcr when you lookup a member it has their address as a link to http://maps.apple.com/?q= and their address. Problem with this is when you are using LDS.org from the meetinghouse and you click on the link it opens up a new window to maps.apple.com but instead of redirecting to Google Maps ...
