I like the ideas about the address customize options. About 2/3 of out members have a PO box mailing address as well as a physical address. It would be nice to consolidate those in a member list. The Speaker History has to be exported to allow me to populate the last date an individual spoke. Where ...

Something to consider, if you haven't already, is to review the wonderful training material the church has provided. It can be found HERE . No need to go through it all, just those items that pertain to your calling. Once you have partaken of the training, firmly (but gently) go and get the new bis...

What is being overlooked is the fact that this is said to be from late 2009. Is this normal? I was surprised also at uncleard checks more than a year old. I don't know about any place else, but here in California, if you leave a check uncleared, the state considers it escheated [ Escheat is a commo...

Waiting for MLS changes, you have this options: 1. Teach English to the leaders. 2. Export report in CVS, import data in a DataSheet form with Spanish label. We are already working on option 1. For example, we are planning a 'Daily Dose' program in our community. I'm intrested in comments from anyo...

Mixed language branch

Not the same problem, but similar: We have a small, mixed language branch. This creates a number of challenges. MLS is set to english, which is mostly OK. However, our high priest group leader speaks and understands spanish and very limited english. It would be nice if there was an easier way for ML...

I would suggest you try to find a Spanish speaking patriarch if one is available. The CHI covers this. I can't recall the details, or which handbook, but I do recall reading about it. It may have been in a section covering translation. I'm traveling, so it's difficult to look up. We have a spanish s...

When I study for teaching the SS lesson, I like to do it on line. At lds.org go to "preparing a lesson" and navigate to the lesson. All the scriptures are hyperlinks and even highlight the verses when it displays. I haven't printed them out from there, but I suspect you could.
