Activating Temple Recommend For New Move-In
A brother got a temple recommend signed in another stake. Before that stake activated it, he had his records transferred to our stake, and his old stake couldn't activate it because they didn't have his record. Now I can't activate it because the recommend is coded to another stake. I can't seem to ...

Stake-Wide Reports in Clerk Resources
The latest release notes for clerk resources says that nine of the reports can now be done for the entire stake, instead of just one report at a time. This functionality does not seem to be working for me; I can only access each ward individually. Anyone else having this issue?

Re: Patriarch and Bishop missing from Ordinances in MLS
It would sure be nice for the stake to be able to run a report to see who your ex-bishops are What would you do with that list? Sometimes we can suggest other ways to get what you need depending on what you are trying to do. Our stake is in a fast growing area with constant move ins. It would just ...

It also tracks ordination to the office of Seventy.eblood66 wrote:That's just the way MLS works. It only tracks the ordinations for High Priest and Elder.

Re: Budget Allocation disbursement methods
My stake has adopted a use it or loose it policy when it comes to budget allocations. We usually let them keep it if the amount is not excessive. Our challenge is the ward that adopted a "use it and don't worry about the allocation" policy. That took some adjustments and undoing. We are o...

Re: Budget Allocation disbursement methods
Looks like I am in the minority here. In our stake we use checks. At the end of each year, we estimate the total amount of money coming into the stake the next year (i.e., the sum of the estimated ward allocations), determine how much money the stake needs to survive, and then allocate the rest amon...

Length of Stake History
So I have noticed that each year my stake history gets longer and longer (mostly due to ward histories getting longer and longer). This last one was almost 300 pages for the stake and 12 units. Just curious to hear about others' experiences.

Phantom Temple Menu in Clerk Resources
In Clerk Resources, if I am working under any pages under the "Confidential" heading in Membership, I get a new menu option entitled "Temple." It sits right between "Reports" and "Other." Some of the links in the temple menu work; some don't. But as soon as I ...
