I wonder if it would be possible for the church to use the new FamilySearch search engine to find the cases in which there are temple file or extraction file ordinances with a CLEARED designation, where the temple work HAS BEEN DONE by members in the meantime, while those extracted or temple file n...

Pack1970 mentioned that the church did the checking for duplication prior to 1991. He did not mention that when names were submitted, they were ALL sent to Salt Lake and it took many months before the submitter heard bach that their names had been cleared for ordinances. In 1991, TempleReady was in...

In reading these comments it got me to thinking about submitting names. My great great great grandfather had his work done for him about 45 years ago. Last month we discovered the name they did was not our great great great grandfather. His name was misspelled on his immigration records but the LDS...

I think it would be really helpful if the church would prioritize the CLEARED ordinances in the temple file and extraction file and do the oldest ones that people are griping about being in the system for so long - FIRST IN - FIRST OUT. Maybe that would help the frustration level of people who have...

From 1970 to 1991 names submitted for temple ordinances were checked very thourghly by computer and manually for duplicates. At least 25% of submissions were found to be duplicates. In 1991 the duplication checking was shifted to the members and duplicates skyrocketed. I don't hold out much hope th...

Ordinance duplication is a major problem in temple work. The new FamilySearch that is starting to be initiated in selected temple districts will take a major step in reducing future duplications. There are many factors that have contributed to duplications. I will list a few here: ⋅  Patr...

If these reserved cards are somehow linked to our barcoded recommends, then perhaps they can automatically renew as long as our recommend continues to be used annually (or some other length of time that accommodates those in countries or circumstances that prevent frequent attendance). If renewal i...

Does that mean I wouldn't be able to say, print out my great-grandfather and great-grandmother and get all their ordinances done on one card, but would have to print out 4+1 cards each (Bap, Init, End, Seal Par, Seal Spouse only one p...
