Internet filtering

Does anyone know how to contact those responsible for the meetinghouse internet filtering? It seems rather rediculous that it won't even allow downloading the very software that they tell us to use. Following the links directly from the mls.lds.org Additional Software page triggers the filter block.

I like the new meeting house locater. I do have a request for an update though. I would like to see added to the list the name and location of the stake the units are in. If a member is moving to a new area this would be very helpful. :D It would be very helpful if unit numbers were included with t...

Picture Size Request

It would be very helpful if we could use either 180 x 135 or 135 x 180 pixels The current restriction is not conducive to pictures of individuals. With the large and growing percentage of single members, restricting photos to a horizontal format just simply does not make sense.

This statement can be read and interpreted in many different ways. One of those ways could be that all Gil Casellas is really saying is that they consider all people equal in our business dealings and so everyone will be treated equal in the same way that Gordon B Hinckley has always advocated that...

Controversial Question

Does anyone involved in the purchasing of Computers by the Church ever consider statements like this one when making purchasing decisions? "Recognition always pushes Dell to move to the next level and so we'll continue our efforts advocating for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered equality," sa...

I can highly endorse CradlePoint equipment. I have a CTR350 that I have been using as a portable WiFi access solution for the past ten months. It has been an excellent piece of equipment and the folks at CradlePoint are VERY responsive to solving problems. I have tried several other cellular to WiFi...

But please keep up the comments on suggestions and challenges for locating the rest of the equipment. More often than not, the demarc is probably a bad place to put the boxes, environment-wise. I have installed four buildings in the last few months, and every one was different, largely due to the d...

So, the membership clerk CAN run the report for the Bishop? ;) This is what I and several other clerks I know are going to have to do. I know that my Stake President won't even touch the computer and several Bishops will only do so with much prodding and complaining. There is no real reason that th...

The problem is that this should not be just a check mark, it should be a date.

Thanks, I was pretty sure that only "Contact Previous Bishop" or placing a move restriction were the only way to annotate a record. Makes sense not to have carte blanch ability to annotate records which could easily get out of hand. Jim A high priority enahncement for me would be to allow setting a...
