If having a "packager" is something that the project needs and I can figure it out, I'd be happy to give it a try. Having gone through the process of packaging (which is necessary in order to install it), I'm guessing that there's not much of a value added for someone to just be a packager. (I pack...

Binaries for webOS?

I just downloaded LDS Tools for the iPhone and shared the news (of the apps, not that I downloaded it) with the Bishops and Stake Presidency, as well as a few other members that I knew would be interested in it. One of them has a palm pre, but he couldn't find any installation files to install (alth...

I question whether a one minute MLS send/receive is worth the upgrade cost in the ethernet medium (pix firewalls, switches, cable, wireless access points, wireless adapters). These are questions Stake Presidents will have to resolve, since they now bear the responsibility and cost for upgrades of e...

You also might want to take a look at the 25 Feb 2008 Presiding Bishopric letter detailing changes in the quarterly report. It looks like some line numbers have changed on the quarterly report starting in April, so you may need to make some adjustments to your data import routines. Is this letter a...

Sorry, I took advantage of your typo that I frequently make myself. YM == Young Men, right? So your comment suggested that Young Men who get pregnant need to be going to Relief Society.... I sent instructions to our Ward Council asking them to take attendance of all the Young Men attending the Young...

 You mean who will be doing the actual ordination in advance? No, when you fill out the certificate, there's a blank field labeled "calling of the Stake representative" (or something like that). If it's a member of the HC who is there, then we fill in "High Councillor". if it's a member o...

Thanks! My computer apparently doesn't have helvetica, but a google search indicates that arial might be a close enough replacement. My second option if I couldn't find the font was to download 2.8 just so I could print this form-- Ward Conference is this Sunday, so really needed to get it done this...

Our stake does something similar to what James' stake does. The stake representative comes with the MP ordination form (with all signatures of course), the MP is conferred, and then the stake rep and one of the ward clerks immediately go and record the ordination. The certificate is printed (if it h...

Just as a thought, any YM who becomes pregnant gets promoted to RS regardless of age.

I suspect that would be some kind of miracle! :)

I was going to print out a replacement section on the form and then just tape it over the printed out section. I'd like to keep the font the same though-- does anybody know what font is used on this form?
