Re: Can youth secretaries record attendance in Member Tools?
That's probably a good explanation. I just don't like automating or moving something online only partially. Or only for adults or whatever. This was rolled out in my ward and adults looked dumb in front of kids when the adults found out the kids didn't have access. I've watched things like that happ...

Re: Can youth secretaries record attendance in Member Tools?
Only the bishopric on the young men side has access, also something that should be taken off their plate. The YM quorum secretaries could take roll manually as has been done for many years and then hand those to the clerk to record. It doesn't have to be done by the bishopric. When I served as cler...

Re: High Council Order
My stake still asks HC to sit in order of seniority. Is that considered appropriate/necessary? When I pointed this out to my SP he said that he didn't take directions from MLS. Which I didn't necessarily disagree with, however, Seniority in the HC is completely meaningless other than tracking how l...

Re: Ward Technology Specialist
Interesting. It sounds like the stake-level assistant technology specialist is gone and replaced with the new ward one. I do wonder what rights they'll have in TM. With the exception of webcasting, they seem to be more focused on helping members navigate the technology. I don't really understand it...

Ward Technology Specialist
In the most recent handbook updates there are references to Ward Technology Specialist that report to the Ward Executive Secretary. I'm a bit dumbfounded by the whole thing. Is this just an assistant technology Specialist? What's the deal with reporting to the ExecSec rather than the STS? Is there a...

Re: New Sunday Meeting Attendance Reporting
Unfortunately none of the youth advisors, specialists, or even class/quorum presidencies seem to have access. Is this a case where the announcement is ahead of the technology or will that limitation remain in place? Thanks in advance, Mike This is just typical follow the handbook to the letter even...

Re: Using a Comtek for sound when broadcasting Sacrament
Most buildings have a line level output at the rostrum. You can find this at the clerks desk or the sacrament table. Found the audio jack. Bought the right cables for it. Problem is, the jack was dead. (Yes, I toggled the audio switch on the wall.) The clerk's table still has the old tape recorder ...

Stake / Ward Visibility to Payment Request
I can't seem to find it if it exists, but is there an option for me to switch between contexts in the Budget portion of LCR Finances? I notice with my YM calling I can do a payment request at the ward level, but I can't find a way to switch to my stake calling and do the same thing. My calling is ST...
