FHC Canon Microfilm Scanner 300 vs Win 7
Hi We recently received new computers in our FHC. Most of the transition was quite simple and painless. The one real pain was connecting the Canon 300 scanner and getting it to work. The scanner has a SCSI-2 connection and all the PC's don't. I was able to get it work using a RATOC USB/SCSI adaptor ...

FHC LanDESK not connecting
Hi,
I am noticing that LanDESK is not working on some of my FHC machines and wonder if this is the time to switch them all over to Tivoli.
If now is the time to make the change is there any documentation on the procedure to follow so I don't really mess things up?
Thanks

Disassociated .lnk files
Today's adventure has all the .lnk files on our Stake Clerk's machine being disassociated from where they should link. Something evil has gotten to the machine and I wonder if anyone else has had this happen and what the solutions are. My first thought was to boot in safe mode and run system restore...

Internet access hanging up
Hi, I suspect that the 2Wire boxes we access through are somewhat limited and will simply lock up at random. The brute force solution I use is to reboot them and then get on with life. Is anyone else seeing this issue with the 2Wire? I get the same hanging at home and work using the same boxes so I ...

Satellite Policy questions
Hi, My Stake has two locations with Satellite receivers. At a broadcast Stake Conference over the weekend I learned the hard way that one unit was not working properly. The only way we got any of the meeting was to use a computer. That is not a good choice when the conference has been underway for 3...

Swap out of ASA5505?
Hi, In a response to a dialog on internet filtering not working in one building my FM Rep mentioned that all ASA5505's would be replaced with the 881W. I thought that the 881W would be replacement for defective ASA5505 but was not aware of a program to change all at once. Has anyone else know anythi...
