Re: Ward Area Book

It may be a good idea to find a way to obscure the admin email address when showing the list of wards that you can request access to. I set up a new ward, poked around, then deleted it. For now. I might come back to this. However, after I deleted the ward and signed out, I get an error when I sign i...

Re: view both ward calendars for same meetinghouse

If you use the week view of the calendar, you should see all events scheduled in a building (assuming both wards are in the same stake). You can turn the display on and off for each building in your stake at the bottom of the left sidebar.

Problem signing in to CDOL

Right now when I attempt to sign in to CDOL, I get a friendly red message at the top of the page: An error occurred during login, please log in again. I do not know if this is related, but I recently changed my LDS Account user name. When I attempt to sign in with my old user name, I get this expect...

MLS 3.5.1 member locating steps

In MLS 3.5.1 when I attempt to move a record out of my ward with an unknown address, I get a handy list of member locating steps I need to complete. I do not have quick access to MLS and I cannot find the list of steps published anywhere else. Can someone point me to the list if it is available onli...

The Individual email address is used (the Household email address is not used, even if it is present and the Individual email address is blank). My experience leads me to believe your statement is incorrect. I just tested this by going to Send a Message and putting my daughter's name in the Recipie...

The Ward Clerk calling is what is called a Tier 1 calling, and the stake has to enter it in stake MLS. I believe this is incorrect. See the wiki article on Callings: http://tech.lds.org/wiki/Callings#Tier_1_versus_Tier_2_positions When I was called as a ward clerk, the outgoing clerk created an MLS...

I'd personally rather see Priesthood leaders, RS, YM, YW, Primary, etc.. access to their portions of the data... my clerks still have lines at the door asking for these things that could be self service. I am slowly teaching the leaders in my ward to make requests for reports, attendance rolls, bir...

Do you have any guidance on how units will be chosen to participate in the beta testing? Will it require an entire stake to participate, or can individual wards join in?
