Re: Missing Missionary from Online Donation Dropdown
Also makes it more difficult for the clerk to manage as (at least in my experience) most families pay that first month. Then the clerk will then have to remember to move the donation into the proper fund once it is created...

Re: Standardized Equipment & Implementation Guidelines- What & When????
Our 3-ward building has a mounted camera in the chapel - mounted by the FM group as I understand. We are not in a stake center. But our stake center is just a regular building with stake offices added (it has a camera mounted in the chapel also) - if we have any multi-ward or stake-wide meetings for...

Re: Ministering - Filter by Member option needed
From the Ministering Assignments Summary page, select the "All Households" tab and then change the far right box just below it from "All Organizations" to "Ministering Sisters." That should give you the report similar to what you are describing. I did not see a way to s...

Re: Name removed while living - temple work possible?
To the OP: If it helps, one of my adult sons resigned his church membership a few years ago. While deeply disappointed, we respect his agency and love him anyway. Through fasting and prayer and relying on our Savior who heals all wounds, I think your parents will work through it OK.

Re: Ward Member Audit Exceptions
The prompt in the Membership audit is Check the box next to any calling that needs a member added or changed. so if the positions are correct the boxes should NOT be checked And therein lies a possibility for misunderstanding. In most forms, you check the box if it is right (for example, you check ...

Re: Can Individual Members Submit Expense Reimbursement Requests Online?
Have you tried it using the app? I believe if you do it through the app then it is fine. That will only work if the individual's calling has access. If they don't get access per their calling, they will not see the option in the Tools app. But that is a quick way for someone to check if they can su...

Re: Youth Protection report for Ward members
I took the training when I was ward clerk also. I even took it twice because I wanted to be able to help ward members who had questions on taking it. It has always bugged me that there is no report at the ward level showing who is current and who is not. Makes it very difficult for leaders wanting t...

Re: Authorized Member-Financed Activities Subcategory naming and Deleting old subcategories
The subcategories can be named pretty much anything you want them to (at least they could when I was clerk a few years ago. However, drepouille is correct that you cannot delete them until they have been at zero for the financial retention period. I think they go away on their own after they have be...

Humanitarian aid donation in honor of a deceased person
A member of my ward posed this question to the bishop and he referred them to me: "A friend has passed away and they asked for donations to the Humanitarian Aid fund of the church in their honor in lieu of flowers, etc. How do I do that?" The member knows they can donate to the fund, but w...
